“Working with IES Abroad has been an extremely rewarding experience. Studying abroad in Bologna really opened my eyes to the world, and I strive to help provide our students with the same invaluable and self-reassuring experience as I had in Italy. My work challenges my own perceptions on a daily basis. While it is rather inspiring to see more diverse cohorts study abroad, it is also necessary that providers examine how we can best serve our ever-changing student population, and give them the necessary tools to understand and dissect their new cultural contexts.”
